Our experts

Meet the team

Our Canary Care leadership team is committed to making real change within the care industry. Here are some of the key faces that will help you support our most vulnerable.

Managing director
Ian Burgess

As managing director of Canary Care, I’m deeply committed to harnessing technology as a force for good – leveraging opportunity for tech-enabled care to deliver solutions which directly improve lives. Our work aims to use data ethically and effectively to encourage independent living and ease the burden on the care industry.

Head of operations
Hannah Groombridge

With 15 years of experience in the Health & Social Care industry, my passion lies in enabling care providers to access the right tools at the right time, to proactively improve the lives of people they care for. Our customers, and the people they support, are always at the centre of everything we do at Canary Care.

Head of Sales
Polly Bastin

I’ve worked in software for social care for 19 years, with adult social care commissioning, domiciliary care, and care homes to name a few. My heart is firmly in using technology and data to improve lives, both for those delivering care, and those receiving it.

Software Sales Executive
Sarah Stacey

I’ve worked in adult social care since I left school, and tech for a decade, so I truly understand the difference we can make when we combine the two. Canary Care does that perfectly, and I’m so proud to be part of such a dedicated team.

Senior Client Relationship Manager
Joe Smith

Being part of our brilliant Canary Care Operations Team is a joy. Whether that’s building lasting relationships, or seeing the positive impact our solutions have on people’s lives, I’ll help you get the very best out of our technology.

Operations Support
Jordan Byrne

With more than ten years’ experience in customer support, it’s my job to make sure you’re receiving service that reflects our commitment to independent living for every individual. I couldn’t be happier to play a part in improving the lives of vulnerable people.
